Welcome to the Asia Pacific Association of Robotic Surgeons
The Asia-Pacific Association of Robotic Surgeons is founded on the fundamental principles of education and collaboration as a means to deal with the complex issues of robotic surgery. This society focuses on robotic surgery in the field of general surgery specialties: Upper GI; HPB; Colorectal; Endocrine; and so on.
Our aim is to provide clinical, educational and innovative services that will provide enormous possibilities in terms of multi-centric studies, database collection, fellowship training and funding support. True to our hope to advance technology, our website is the most principal way to deliver our message that allows surgeons to share videos, advice and innovative approaches with one another, for the real value in moving robotic surgery forward is to share as much information about the process and techniques as possible. Accordingly, we are an organization that will seek participation from residents and fellows and young faculty in the hope that we can assist them as they embrace robotics. The society is global with each continent having its own board and input into variety of academic activities. It is the pioneering spirit of our members and of our founding board that will make this society a success.
All the member of The Asia-Pacific Association of Robotic Surgeons will benefit from being always connected to peers and specialists, sharing his or her expertise. At this time of great change in the health industry, technology advances faster than ever before, and the society will encompass not only robotics, but also variety of innovative technologies including minimally invasive, NOTES and single port access surgery that enriches surgical practice. This will provide the diversity to allow us to adapt to changes in technology and will provide an innovative forum in which to expand our horizons and improve our clinical and academic potential.
